The only NoGi-specialty academy in the Modesto area. We teach you how to become an expert at self-defense using Jiu-Jitsu — whether you've never stepped on a mat or you're sharpening for competition.
We're the only NoGi-only school in the area. Our beginners program dives into the basic key components and systems of submission grappling. Our advanced class goes deeper into finer details, options, and what to look for when setting traps. Beginner or experienced — both programs are open to you.
Our kids program helps your child become an expert at self-defense using our proven system. Classes for kids age 3 and up, grouped by age for safety. Whether your child wants self-defense, fitness, friends, or to compete — we've got a program that fits.
Head Instructor
Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu Modesto is led by Mike Cruz — a black belt with nine years of professional Jiu-Jitsu experience and a lineage that traces through legends of the art. Every class, every drill, every roll is built on that foundation.
Training Schedule
Our schedule is built so you can show up consistently — whether you're a shift-worker, a parent, or a competitor in prep mode. Beginners, advanced, open mat, and kids classes run on a rhythm you can plan your life around.
