1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, booking a trial class, or enrolling as a member, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or enroll.

2. Membership

Full membership terms — including billing cycle, cancellation, and pause policies — are specified in the membership agreement you'll sign when you enroll. This section is a summary only.

• Memberships renew automatically until cancelled in writing per the membership agreement
• Cancellation requests must be submitted through the process outlined in your signed agreement
• Freezes/pauses may be available — contact us directly

3. Waiver & Release of Liability

Jiu-Jitsu involves physical contact and carries inherent risks. Before training, every participant (or a parent/guardian for minors) must sign a liability waiver and release. Training is not permitted without a signed waiver on file.

4. Code of Conduct

• Respect instructors, training partners, and the academy
• Arrive on time and with clean gear
• Tap early, tap often — your partner's safety is your responsibility
• No drugs, alcohol, or performance-enhancing substances on the premises
• Harassment, discrimination, or physical aggression outside sanctioned training results in immediate termination

5. Trial Class Policy

First class is complimentary. You must complete a liability waiver before stepping on the mat. Trial attendees are held to the same Code of Conduct as full members.

6. Website Use

You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only. Content on this site (text, graphics, logos) is the property of Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu Modesto and may not be reproduced without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu Modesto, its owners, instructors, and staff are not liable for injuries sustained during training beyond the scope of the signed liability waiver.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site or active membership after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
